About PiX

Ever since I was a little girl, Cosmetics and Fashion have always been a passion of mine.  My dream has always been to have a career in the beauty industry.  One night in college, I was in the right place at the right time, when I met a modeling scout who introduced me to an agent who put me in the right direction.  Within weeks, I had started modeling and was working with photographers which led to my opportunity to pursue a career as a Professional Makeup Artist.
 

I have over 10 years of Professional Modeling and Makeup Artistry experience. I have been fortunate to work for national and international clients for Fashion, Commercial, Fitness and Catalog. I got my start working for a top Chicago salon, and also gained experience working in cosmetic boutiques and prestige department stores on Michigan Avenue. I continue to freelance for Chicago photographers for On-Camera, Fashion and Commercial Print, Commercials, Independent Films, and I have created custom Bridal looks for over 100 weddings. My cosmetic background along with my modeling career has allowed me to work with industry leaders and learn tricks and techniques from the very best. Being on both sides of the camera has proven to be very beneficial. As a Makeup Artist, I loved working with beautiful color choices, effective concealers and rich pigment. As a model, I wanted an alternative to thick, cakey makeup that clogged my pores and created more problems for my skin.
